Daniel James Construction Services were contracted by the new owner of this gothic grade II listed vicarage to replace the natural slate roof and carry out essential repairs to the chimney stacks.
Two of the large chimneys were leaning considerably and needed to be rebuilt. It was important to carry out these repairs in a manner sympathetic to the buildings appearance because of its listed status, so our teams of bricklayers carefully removed and cleaned bricks for re-use where possible.
Repairs to further chimney stacks included weather struck repointing and flaunching to prevent strucutral issues from occurring and to ensure the integrity of the chimneys for years to come.
